In 2008, Gianpaolo de Felice and his close friend, David Mayer, went on a long bike ride in East Hampton woods. Exhausted, they craved a bowl of authentic Italian pasta without the Hamptons “scene.” Just local, fresh food served under the open sky.

They imagined Gianpaolo's Neapolitan mother coming to the Hamptons to cook her Mediterranean recipes.They made a pact to turn their savory dream into a reality. They agreed Sag Harbor was the perfect parallel to small fishing villages in Naples.

Tutto became an instant word-of-mouth place for friends and family to gather in a chic environment with delicious and simple Southern Italian food as created and overseen by Executive Chef Agostino Petrosino.

Gabby Karan De Felice designed the modern intimate atmosphere. Complementing the overall experience, Gabby and her mother Donna Karan, opened an Urban Zen lifestyle store next door, making the family experience all the more unique and special.

A year later, the de Felices and Mayers opened Tutto Southampton featuring Executive Chef Alex Aparu. Alex brought the farm-to-table experience from his upbringing in Corsica and recent life in the North Fork of Long Island. With its own distinct character, Tutto Southampton maintains the same successful philosophy and style as its Sag Harbor flagship.

Now in 2023, the Tutto dream continues with the opening of Tutto Caffe in East Hampton – the ideal indoor/outdoor coffee spot which also serves wines, liqueurs, Italian pastries and savories throughout the day. The Caffe idea came about in 2019 after the two couples bought Buena Vida, a coffee company in Costa Rica, where the beans are harvested by local farmers. Tutto Caffe’s signature coffee is the perfect balance of rich authentic coffee beans with an Italian accent — served in a sophisticated and inviting atmosphere as designed by Gabby de Felice.

Born of family and friendship, Tutto eateries are all one and the same — stylish places serving authentic Southern Italian fare that feel as welcoming as home.
